About The Author
Elizabeth Zachary-Riviere has spent almost a decade in Louisiana prisons and over thirteen years on parole. She was entangled in the criminal justice system for over twenty-eight years. After being released in 2013, she became a Peer Support Counselor at Shreveport Behavioral Health and volunteered at Ark-La-Tex Crisis Pregnancy Center while pursuing her long-standing goal of advocating for criminal justice reform by attending graduate school. Elizabeth Zachary-Riviere’s current activities include working remotely, contributing her time as a volunteer with the Louisiana Coalition against Domestic Violence, and engaging in Bible studies designed specifically for women.

This book was put together and illustrated by Kevin Riviere. I began selecting Psalms and drawing the pictures for each piece of Scripture after a prayer and meditation with the Lord our God one morning towards the end of 2003. I was inspired to do this by my loving wife, Elizabeth after telling her of the idea God had given me; and I finished putting it together early in 2004…
This book was put together specifically for children to enjoy while hearing God’s Word. May His Spirit be with all who read this book. The ghost pictures in this book came about from personal letters written to my wife at a time when we were both in prison for breaking the laws in this land and living out of God’s will. It was there I became humble and sought God for our freedom. The ghosts represented my spirit talking to her spirit as we were separated physically. Our hope was left in God’s hands. He brought us to Himself first, and then to one another to fulfill our dreams and His plans for us. Thanks be to God we now live a good life together… The Three of us… Three in one.
